Inspired by the famous Gandhi quote, ‘be the change you want to see in the world’, Snéha Khilay, Managing Director of Blue Tulip Consultancy has developed expertise on diversity, inclusion & management/leadership development over the past 25 years. Her focus is to effect change and improve interactions between people within the business world.

Working at an international level, Snéha has advised and worked with Board Members, CEOs, Executive Directors and Senior Managers on how to develop a strategic and operational approach to the changing stance on equality, diversity, inclusion and psychological safety. Snéha helps identify and implement effective solutions to the organisation related ‘diversity dilemmas’.

Blue Tulip Consultancy incorporates the philosophy of respect and dignity in all training and consultancy work. Snéha communicates effectively with flair, enthusiasm and empowering interpersonal skills. She had developed expertise in responding with dignity and appropriately in the occasional challenging situations and behaviours.

About Blue Tulip

Windsor Leadership Trust.

Snéha facilitates on the Windsor Leadership Trust residential programmes, held in Windsor Castle. The programme provides transformational experience led leadership development for senior leaders, across all sectors of society.

Facilitator for leaders of charities and social enterprises

Snéha facilitates on Action Learning based monthly meetings for CEOs from different charities. The process includes organising external speakers, sharing best practice, group coaching as well as individual coaching.

Coaching Support United Nations

Snéha provides development coaching for Regional Directors. She also facilitated on a six-month programme for senior managers from across the world on developing effective coaching skills. The process included taking into consideration the cultural nuances whilst working as a team in intense, unpredictable situations. The facilitation also focused on leading an effective team whilst working in collaboration with other international agencies as well as the country’s government/ministers.

Board and other positions

Snéha is a Board Member for Leeds Arts University. She is the Chair for the Diversity and Inclusion Development Group for the Windsor Leadership Trust.

Snéha is a prolific writer and has had articles published on diversity, managing biases and leadership responsibility in: Management Today, Simple Business, People Management, Professional Manager, HR Director, HR international, Managing Partner, Finance Sector (to name a few) She has also been quoted in The Times and The Independent.

Snéha has appeared on the BBC1 Inside Out and BBC 2 Victoria Derbyshire programmes discussing how to manage implicit biases related to the recruitment processes. She is regularly invited by LBC and BBC radio to share her expertise on diversity related affairs.

Speaking Engagements

Snéha regularly speaks on the topic of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at regional, national and international level. She has presented to multinational organisations with participants representing different countries.

Qualifications

Snéha did her MSc Management of Human Resources, and her dissertation was titled ‘Management of Sexual Harassment Fantasy or Reality.

She is also an NLP Master Practitioner, an accredited Business Executive coach. In 2021, she participated in a year long programme on being a supervisor for coaches.
